Today is one month since we have had Maia Isabelle! Maia is doing really well! She still isn't eating solids but I've been putting baby food in her bottles so she's getting plenty of nutrition. She is also looking pretty chubby, so she's definitely not starving! She goes to bed in her crib at 8pm wakes up once a night at around 1am to have a bottle, then sleeps until 6 or 7am. She still likes to nap in the carrier...I think she needs that closeness because she's afraid to be alone.
She is really warming up to Keith and will give him kisses and hold her arms up for him to pick her up. She's still a mama's girl but she's figuring out that daddy's pretty cool too.
She is running all over the place! She loves walking and running. It's so funny to see her walking because she is so small.
The boys continue to be great with her. Their favorite game is called "Maia's a big girl". They put her in her walker and speed from the front of the house to the back of the house singing "Maia's a big girl!" over and over. One boy pushes while the other runs along side her, then they switch. Maia loves it and laughs out loud. The faster the better! This game occurs every night before dinner. We can usually only tolerate this game for about 20 minutes before we crack.
