Good news at the eye doctor!

Bag lady...she did her own hair :).

We saw the cornea specialist again today. He said one of her scars is fading but the other is still the same. Also, one of her lower eyelids seems to be correcting itself but the left one is still the same. He wants me to continue with the gel and drops to prevent further damage but feels it is correcting itself! Hooray! He also has a cornea specialist friend who he went to school with who lives where we are going! He already forwarded both of our files to him. He wants both of us to see the new doctor when we get settled. On a side note...Maia did a great job. She puts her little chin right where it goes and looks straight ahead! Of course, the promise of goldfish crackers helps. It also doesn't hurt that we were in and out in only 15 minutes!

I'm glad to hear the eye dr. went good. Andof course she was a good girl, isn't she always? Ok- on a side note: I've made it through almost two weeks without her and its not been fun. You better bring her by tomorrow or next week. I know your busy packing but we miss her!

Hi Tricia and family,

I am home this week, so I went to your blog page. I love the pictures and your comments. If you are moving today, you may not see this until later.Remember when you get to the exit that goes to Pembroke, (cracker Barrell on the right), that is my family road to the left or waht is left of them. Most are in the cemetary up there now. What is this problem with Maia's eyes? I didn't know anything about it. Bee happy in South Carolina.
