May is my favorite month for lots of reasons...the weather and the school year coming to an end to name a few. I insisted on getting married in May and"Maia" was the Roman goddess of spring and the month of May was named for her. May is also special because today is my mom's birthday. She LOVED her birthday and she LOVED the beach, so of course that's where we spent the day. We all inherited her love of the ocean. I love you and miss you Mom. More than anything.

I am glad you found a way to celebrate your mom's birthday. One question....does Maia ever wear the same bathing suit twice?? She seems to have quite a collection. :)
